EthiFinance's ESG and Climate Consulting team is dedicated to assisting financial and investment players in the design, formalization and implementation of their sustainable finance approach as well as in the integration of extra-financial criteria in their activities. The services offered by the Consulting division are varied and range from the design of strategies to the operational deployment of complex solutions.

EthiFinance assists its investor clients, management companies, banks and financial institutions in integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria into their decision-making and risk management processes, through several areas of expertise:

Research and development:
EthiFinance's experts periodically carry out market studies and opportunity analyses which are made available to clients. The R&D unit includes experts in nonfinancial and financial analysis and conducts various research projects in several areas of sustainable finance. In the area of climate change, the team has recently developed a carbon model, a biodiversity model, as well as physical and transition risk measurement models. -
ESG strategy design and update:
The team provides quality support to clients to develop, complete or evolve their multi-year ESG/climate strategies. Based on its agency know-how, EthiFinance has strong expertise in the construction of ESG assessement frameworks, the identification of relevant impact KPIs and the design of proprietary ESG evaluation methodologies. EthiFinance also assists its clients in the labelling of their funds (SRI label, Greenfin, Finansol and France Relance). -
Implementation of ESG/Climate/Impact approaches:
EthiFinance's experts offer personalised support during the deployment phase of ESG policies and processes. EthiFinance has a valued expertise in ESG and Impact as well as in-depth knowledge of the French and European sustainable finance regulatory environment. -
Regulatory compliance:
EthiFinance assists investors in complying with the SFDR, the AMF doctrine and the Taxonomy and also helps them to draft the periodic report required by art. 29 of the LEC law. -
Design of innovative ESG solutions/products:
The R&D team assists clients to create new ESG products or to transform existing portfolios into sustainable products. EthiFinance participated in the creation of the first impact debt fund on the French financial market and also designed for a French bank the first impact bank credit system dedicated to SMEs.
In addition, EthiFinance is an accredited training organization and offers training on several ESG topics throughout its support.
